The Onion....

Shrek said it best,we are all like an onion, we let others get to know us in layers. I was reading this interview from Rolling Stone magazine, it's from January 2007, and this quote from Neil Young really hit home for me. I have been many people in the past and each one was someone who helped me to get through many good and bad times in my life. Probably not as much a person as a personality! One thing I have found out is that each of these have kept me sane (for the most part) and each time I become a better and stronger person than I previously was. So I am once again morphing into another person and that person who has been hidden inside me very deep, is finally doing what it wants to.
I think we will all be this way for all our lives, a simple name for it is growth! Growth in age, in maturity in how we view our lives and of those around us. It is on going. Think abut it, do you still think of things the same way now as you did about 5 or 6 years ago? Granted there are many things we are firm believers of, on the same hand some we are willing to change and accept. Thats what makes us all unique and complex or simple in our lives. It's all about perception!
In about 6 weeks I get to morph again and this one will be an entirely different and new person. I am still looking forward to going New Orleans and building houses. I gotta keep on rolling!
